WELCOMEWelcome to the Valley View home page. We have been involved with shelties for over 30 years. We are located in the N/W part of Nevada, on the eastern slope of the sierra's, just 15 minutes to the So. shore of Lake Tahoe. Our home sits right below Jobs Peak in the picturesque Carson Valley. The lower part of the property is on the original Pony Express route. We found a dime dated 1861 on the property years ago and I sometimes wonder if it once belonged to one of those young men. I like to think so. Our shelties have plenty of room to run and play, and are very much a part of our lives. They are not kennel dogs, and live in the home with us like we feel they should. We typically breed one litter a year, sometimes two. We have bred many conformation champions as well as top performance dogs. We have made some wonderful friends through our involvment with the breed and continue to do so in the future. Diane is a member of the American Shetland Sheepdog Assoc., and the No. Calif.
